Icon.

Showjumping is in his blood. Harry’s father, Peter Charles MBE, famously rode the final leg of the jump-off for Team GB at the 2012 Olympics - the crown jewel in an already glittering career.

Under the guidance Peter, Harry continues to refine his development with a legend of the sport - but to Harry, this icon is simply ‘Dad’.

Home to the Charles family, and their family business, Heathcroft Farm, based in Hampshire, England has been an integral arm in Harry’s development.

A base for training, and a successful breeding programme, the team at Heathcroft Farm are dedicated to bringing the highest level of care, knowledge and training to each of their horses, offering a lifetime of expertise in the industry ensuring strong and successful relationships not only on the ground but between horse and rider combinations.

A life in equestrian.

With his deep roots in the sport, it is no surprise that Harry has been competing at the top of the sport in his respective age brackets for over a decade.

National champion at each respective age bracket, all the way through to under-21 level, Harry has consistently performed at the highest level, and currently stands as the most decorated junior rider in European competition.

A family affair.

Retaining a healthy level of sibling rivalry, Harry’s younger sisters Scarlett & Sienna have both competed up to national level in their own right.

Growing up as one of the pre-eminent showjumping families in the world, having some of the strongest competition training alongside you each day has been vital in the development of Harry, as each member of the family continues to push one another for further success.
